Edify is a cloud-based data management platform designed to consolidate data from disparate sources into one comprehensive, higher education data model. Business concepts are used to link data across multiple systems and create a singular, comprehensive record to provide business intelligence, which was not possible previously. Edify is flexible and extensible so that new data sources can be incorporated and the standard model is configured to meet users' data needs. Regardless of changes to source systems, Edify maintains a vendor-agnostic view of data produced on campus to future-proof data needs.

2026 SOC 2 Type 2 Audit
Please be advised that EAB is currently undergoing a SOC 2 Type 2 audit for the May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026 examination period. Our SOC 2 audit firm of several years’ standing is Linford and Company LLP, a CPA firm led by partners and staff comprised of former "Big Four" auditors and Information Security experts. Linford has an active CPA license and is enrolled in the AICPA Peer Review Program with a “Pass” rating well within the three year validity period.

Starfish has also been granted TX-RAMP Level 2 certification
Starfish has also been granted TX-RAMP Level 2 certification demonstrating EAB's ongoing commitment to industry standard security best practices. To obtain this certification, EAB was required to adopt "a standardized approach for security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud computing services" across the Starfish platform. We have uploaded evidence of this certification to our trust center for our partners to reference.

We are proud to announce that Edify has also been granted TX-RAMP Level 2 certification demonstrating EAB's ongoing commitment to industry standard security best practices. To obtain this certification, EAB was required to adopt "a standardized approach for security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud computing services" across the Edify platform.
